I thoroughly enjoyed the last two weeks of training! The shorter runs in week 12 and branching out to try a class at a CrossFit studio also provided a great way for me to mix up my training for the week. My key focuses in the past two weeks of training were eating the right foods before and after my training and getting into a good breathing rhythm as soon as I can when I'm running.

The buildings were opulent, the Prague Castle was like peering into a fairy tale and the array of areas around the city made for a fun 4 days of exploring. Our first month in Toronto

Our first month in Toronto

Last week marked one month since we arrived in Toronto. Looking back on our first month here, I think we’ve done quite well settling in. We found a place live, explored lots of different neighbourhoods, bought our winter coats, watched our first game of baseball, tried to be cool, calm and collected when we were freezing, and I signed up for the Toronto half-marathon that’s in October.
