Insta hiatus and what's to come on Luggage Lifestyle!

I know everyone says, ‘Instagram isn’t about numbers, it’s about fostering engagement.’ Of course, it is, we all know that. To foster and strengthen your engagement though, the numbers do matter. When you’re trying to build a community on Instagram, a central part of that is the conversations in the comments of your posts and that’s where the numbers matter for me.

Toronto Half-Marathon Training: week 13 - 16

Well...it has been a while since my last update and I have some explaining to do! At the end of week 14, when it came time to write my next half-marathon training update, I decided to move the updates to a monthly basis for two reasons — I’ve had a lot of other work on and I can provide you with more in-depth feedback and findings to inspire your own running adventures with monthly updates.

Toronto Half-Marathon Training: week 11 - 12

Toronto Half-Marathon Training: week 11 - 12

I thoroughly enjoyed the last two weeks of training! The shorter runs in week 12 and branching out to try a class at a CrossFit studio also provided a great way for me to mix up my training for the week. What to do in Prague, Czech Republic: 4-day itinerary

The buildings were opulent, the Prague Castle was like peering into a fairy tale and the array of areas around the city made for a fun 4 days of exploring. Eager to see as much of the city was we could by walking, we focused our time on Prague Old Town, Josefov (the Jewish Quarter) and the Lesser Town. When we return to Prague, we’re keen to explore areas further out of the city centre.

Our first month in Toronto

Our first month in Toronto

Last week marked one month since we arrived in Toronto. Looking back on our first month here, I think we’ve done quite well settling in. We found a place live, explored lots of different neighbourhoods, bought our winter coats, watched our first game of baseball, tried to be cool, calm and collected when we were freezing, and I signed up for the Toronto half-marathon that’s in October.
